The Victorian on Sunset Hill, a restored Victorian Cottage built in 1889 during the era of the Grand Resort Hotels of the White Mountains is located in Sugar Hill, one of the prettiest mountain villages in the White Mountains of New Hampshire which has retained its quaint colonial nature;  relaxation, congeniality and comfort awaits you at this outstanding rural location just minutes away from skiing, hiking, golfing, tennis, cycling, antiquing, and the many White Mountains Attractions.

The Victorian on Sunset Hill will provide the best hospitality, comfort, and a  healthy  breakfast. The Victorian on Sunset Hill has 5 unique newly furnished  guestrooms with private baths, some with a private balcony, a fireplace, or Jacuzzi tub, and each with its own spectacular mountain view.

The Victorian on Sunset Hill is  located just minutes from the village of Franconia and Interstate 93, on Route 117, a scenic country road, boast rolling hills and gentle pastures, the world famous Polly's Pancake House and the  picturesque St Matthews Church with  spring Lupine flowers, blazing colors in the fall or a blanket of snow in the winter.

The Sunset Room is  $170 per night.

This third floor room, offering westerly views of the Vermont Green Mountains,  is a stately room done in rich wine tones,  has a queen size bed, ceiling fan, elegantly furnished with reproductions of period antiques , and has a private bath with an antique claw foot tub. The mood is warm and relaxing with your comfort in mind.

The quaint balcony offers privacy as you take in the natural beauty of the Green Mountains and breathtaking sunsets.

Second Floor Green Suite is  $225 per night.

The second floor Green suite offers a  spacious and gorgeous room which invites a romantic, relaxing getaway, with a spectacular king bed and seating area, only surpassed by its exceptional mountain views. The room is elegantly furnished with reproductions of period antiques, boast a fireplace, ceiling fan, and a private bath with Jacuzzi  tub. The mood is warm and relaxing with your comfort in mind.

The Blue Room is $170 per night.

 This second floor room offers westerly views of the Vermont Green Mountains has a queen size bed, and is elegantly furnished with a four poster bed. This room boast a ceiling fan private bath with antique claw foot tub. The mood is warm and relaxing with your comfort in mind. 

The Gold Room is $170 per night plus tax

This second floor room offers westerly views of the Vermont Green Mountains has a four poster queen size bed, fireplace, ceiling fan, a cozy window seat, and its own private bath boasting an antique claw foot tub. 

Breakfast ...

begin a new day at The Victorian on Sunset Hill with a  full breakfast  surrounded by candles, fresh flowers, beautiful linens, sparkling crystal,
porcelain and china in the colors and hues of the season. Eggs to order are a staple, as is bacon or sausage, but, please enjoy homemade waffles, pancakes, or quiche, along with fresh fruit, homemade muffins or breads. Weather permitting enjoy breakfast in the screened in porch or the veranda.

Policies ...

• Room rates are based on double occupancy.
• Additional guests in the same room are $35/night.
• Room rates do not include 8% NH Rentals tax
• Room rates are subject to change without notice except on confirmed reservations
• Room rates include a full breakfast and afternoon refreshments.
• Reservation and Cancellation Policy:

A deposit of 50% will guarantee your room (s) when received by personal check or money order within 10 days of your reservation.

 Confirmation of your reservation will be sent upon receipt of your deposit.

Please notify us immediately if a change in your plans necessitates a revised reservation or cancellation.

Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel your reservation up to 14 days before your expected arrival date or 30 days before  reservations of six days or longer. Should you need to cancel within that period, we will refund you deposit, less a $50.00 fee per room, per night.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of you expected arrival date will be charged in full unless we are able to re-book your room.

• Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
• The Victorian on Sunset Hill is strictly a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is permitted outside the building only.
• Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.
